España - Jo
To be honest, I didnt really know what to expect of Spain after Portugal. There was definitely a rough patch getting into Spain and dealing with project issues as well as living issues. I think it’s all worked out though and hopefully we can continue going strong. Toledo is a small beautiful town with such a rich history. Winding streets with cobblestone roads. Everything had so much...

España - Kara
We were warned that this area has more pick pocketers than most of the world.  So we ventured in to España with a mission to not get our stuff jacked. We were surprised our mission was accomplished and hope the good luck continues through Naples and Asia.   It’s easy to eat well in Spain. The market is full of rich produce, olives and fish from head to fin.  A common spanish essential is a...

Along the coast of Lisboa
(Cabo da Roca and Guincho Beach) Each ripple was decorated with crystals of the fresh ocean. So wildly, the waves crashed into the rocks. For only a moment the water laid in each crevice before falling back to the sea. Everywhere I go, my heart is beating, my lungs are breathing and I know home resides in my character. As the Portugeuse would say, este lugar e bela como caralho. Um beijo, ...

Portugal - Jo
We welcomed the warmer Portugal weather with open arms and happy hearts. Immediately after we arrived, we were kicking ourselves for allotting so little time in this country (6 days compared to the typical 14).  Porto appeals to my quiet nature. Its a simple lifestyle and beautiful area, with shy residents who arent so shy after a bit of liquid courage. The city is filled with history, with...

Portugal - Kara
My soul is alive in Portugal. The romantic city of Oporto and bright city of Lisboa were very hard to say goodbye to after only a few days in each spot.  The language sounds pretty, the streets are vibrant and the people are laid back and polite.  I’ve never been to a city where it’s normal to drink on the streets and sidewalks until the sun rises. Money goes a long way in this...

The Giant's Causeway
It’s been such a blessing to be able to see such natural beauty. The vividness of the color within the landscape never fails to leave me speechless. Endless rolling hills and pristine waters. To be able to climb those rocks and look out into vast openness, while feeling like you’re on top of the world. There’s only one way I can describe it: infinite. Cheers! Joanne
